About Us

Galangal Cooking Studio opened in 2012 by Aoy Kornnika who has passion for Thai cooking and loves meeting new people from around the world. Aoy learned  how to cook from her parents in a local cooking style in her hometown, Chiang Rai in Northern Thailand.   After graduating from University Aoy was excited to open her cooking school and share her expertise with the world!

 We are excited to share traditional Thai cooking methods and culture with you.   We will take you to visit a lovely local market where you will learn about the different ingredients and experience the local culture. You will enjoy learning how to cook with your new friends.

In our completely hands-on course, our expert teachers will guide you through each dish and explain the secrets to making perfect Thai dishes just how you like them!
